Web Requests

 

Redesign and New Site Requests

• Technology Services provides Web development support to University Unions and many general fund units of the Division of Student Affairs at The University of Michigan.
• If you qualify, just complete our online form (login required) to initiate the process.

Maintenance & Error Reporting Requests

Reporting Errors:

• When reporting errors please copy and paste the error message (if any) and URL into our maintenance form (login required).

Text Updates:

• Upload a Word document or PDF with instructions using the online maintenance form (login required).
• -OR- Print out the website in its entirety.
• Make small text changes to the site with a colored pen or marker.
• Major changes (anything more than a sentence), please indicate a number on the original page in pen and then type changes into a Word document where the number is clearly indicated before changes. We still request that you fill out our online maintenance form (login required).
• Drop off the text changes to Maria Laitan at 3410 Michigan Union (the University Unions hallway on the 3rd floor mezzanine).

Enhancements:

• If you’d like to add any new pages or features, mark the request as an enhancement on our maintenance form (login required).
• Please indicate in the comments which main page the new page or feature should be added to (how to get involved, faq, resources, contact us etc.). You can also send detailed instructions by uploading a Word or PDF file to our online maintenance form (login required).
